ReHab Coverage

Extended Vacancies with major renovations…  Two types of customers-

Builders with a Builder’s General Liability Policy have the following options for ReHab coverage:

· Zurich Builders Risk Policy on an Existing building

· American Modern Month-to-Month coverage with or without G/L

· Tapco/Lloyds 3, 6, 9, 12 month coverage with or without G/L

Are you an Investor buying to SELL?  Need coverage for Renovations too?

· Primary solution: American Modern.  3 month policy is the minimum sale but if the home is sold after the 30 days un-earned premium is refundable.  This policy is for Minor Renovations and can include General Liability coverage.

· Tapco/Lloyds policy provides for extensive renovations without structural changes.  Coverage for Boarded homes and extended vacancies is also available.

· A Zurich policy may be the wrong policy UNLESS you have a G/L policy for your business.  If you have two years experience in renovations, the Zurich policy may the coverage of your choice.
